Equine Assisted Counseling

Equine Assisted Counseling is our newest program and it pairs up one of our Equine Specialists with a licensed mental-health therapist and their clients. Working with the horses in un-mounted sessions, we can collaborate to offer an alternative therapy experience catered to the goals of the clients. These can be group or individual sessions.
We are very excited to partner with Chantè Anderson from Essence Holistic Health to offer a limited number of sessions. “Chantè is a licensed mental health counselor in Washington and Oregon, and is dedicated to supporting your healing journey. She is also a health coach, registered yoga teacher, and reiki practitioner. Her holistic approach considers your physical, emotional, mental, energetic, and spiritual well-being, ensuring that you receive comprehensive support tailored to your unique story.
Chantè specializes in working with PTSD, ADHD, neurodivergence, depression, and anxiety. She integrates diverse therapeutic modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), EMDR, solution-focused therapy (SFT), somatic therapies, and alternative healing practices like nutrition, yoga, and reiki. In partnering with Pegasus, she is also excited to offer Equine Assisted Counseling (EAC) to help individuals connect and transform themself in a deeper way through a connection with the horse.
This service is available on a limited basis. Please contact us at (509) 965-6990 or admin@pegasusrides.com for more information!
