About the Pegasus Project

Our mission is to provide quality therapeutic riding and other equine-assisted services to improve the health and well-being of people with special physical and emotional needs. As Pegasus Project continues to grow and strengthen as a special service organization in the Yakima community, our goal continues to be to provide our riders with a positive, safe, life enriching experience.

Pegasus currently provides:

• over 1,730 lessons per year
• ponies under saddle over 800 hours per year
• 60 other community members served from Experience Pegasus Days
• over 3,700 VOLUNTEER hours logged

Take Highway 12 West towards Naches. Once you pass through the stoplight in Gleed, go 2 more miles, and take a left on McLaughlin Rd. Stay to the right, and follow that road all the way to the end, where you will hit our gravel driveway. Follow that gravel drive all the way up to our barn and offices!
